For the past 3 years, Reagan has absolutely loved her time spent at Step Ahead Gymnastics. Ms. Christy (owner), "Aunt" Colleen (office mgr.), and all of her coaches have been wonderful and Reagan has learned so much. Today she had her final class and since we are moving and will miss Trophy Day, her coach presented her with her trophy today. So long Step Ahead!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5395141821721975218" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1KfP3F37VKJ-OXFK_rwHzm0cbATNHqBVDO8h3_wciGxcbaAuh39V-EqjFA6EjQEag6iBnfH7W3lXm_HgQwuTJYKk1VnavXORK57a9OKpA15l8Vtl3mv3KjQzCNUYmQq3oDlDPcoNFlHE/s320/Step+Ahead+1.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5395141824173158162" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 232px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg01FAOIf8iC5ZsUEt-fdHzFvDRbFwSpxDcIg124jfK81WVjCR68nOLfg_lJu70XGLKKVZt99WXSOBD2HPSYPm0v4yVl31CHLGmkUlKGa_ei-iSVijmDAROSjmIWPn8mm8z-8H-NP-EPGE/s320/Step+Ahead+2.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5395141827008036178" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 231px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8odl0fBdQjY-pSvMUdTAXm8mzvOSPQbirbEuRhky0GMTS60fnOCtNSqx1Bv_ZtsjvgS3h74liNJ7Jczh5ua4qwIQ0vgMZ_S0vQ9hf0XWf2OAxR-mViwsRMJ5Tgx9VdZ0qusrzppzreC0/s320/Step+Ahead+3.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5395141833168342930" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 245px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4hP487g5F6UuaUnX4hhS25ki1Fi3grUJWK1QXvcy2PLwMpcRowqL8ebQyT0PouQ0DwYVcnMUHPYqCq0g6yuxQEZALIpxPrFw0dv79eEScCbarg7zwPjNVkEJYQDjdQ8bc5CTGGTENvlc/s320/Step+Ahead+4.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5395141837847760882" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 242px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilO99VItjqJPgJyFwqj0eXvp9PwPEBLWuys4-LPGjk6es4EUYk45dTQ87NPXUnm8rReLXXcnGnBrsFpMz1fmf7KBIXG9K-hFhOKu7CTwXafK1ylxme2gbBGTSX573jy6dePHYF2IvES_o/s320/Step+Ahead+5.jpg" border="0" /> <p align="center"><span style="font-size:78%;">Stamping Tatum and Kailyn's hands.</span></p><p align="center"><span style="font-size:78%;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5395141999901186082" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlF3ePS5dslORw8wyVjYzviR2WMoL_YHcpEcCeWedcLWLCHb2PnzHJH6ZxF446eDnpO7Q-LuzrHnMMQd2jnK4JqPIG3I0pjbYPb_8ETdx8S2IYH3QlNIrb-1dc-4QIiTePQbyXZ0Ca-74/s320/Step+Ahead+6.jpg" border="0" /></span></p><p align="center"><span style="font-size:78%;">Yesssssss.....I got my trophy!!</span></p>Wendihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13751683418613104792noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859428077970056706.post-75169255259228442522009-05-06T13:50:00.003-04:002009-10-21T15:59:27.190-04:00V.I.P.<div align="center"><span style="font-size:130%;"><strong><em>ATTENTION! It actually goes from Friday-Sunday, but Reagan's troop only went for the day today. She had a softball game this morning, so she didn't get there until around 11:30, but was able to make up most of the things she missed earlier in the morning. She got to go canoeing, shoot a bow & arrow at the archery area, do some arts & crafts and lots of other fun things too. She even built a building out of empty GS cookie boxes!! The girls were supposed to stay for the campfire tonight, but the rain forced them home early. When she got home she was <em><strong>filthy</strong></em> and exhausted, but had a GREAT time!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332102743394652594" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUl-ARO8YZ9gKw2GZKo82qD4XurwGx5pp_TiUS2Oj2oCZ0tq4V_Or3IcRna-UwUXZ7Fa6erzKoTIZKxdztPYHu7B_ApCQpyl-f51uCvUL94aivv4_aUDxKD6iqUG2nRvCXAxpEd7hSqYA/s320/Camporee+2.jpg" border="0" /><br /><p align="center"><span style="font-size:78%;">Sign reads "Camporee:SURVIVOR"</span></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332102748586998082" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMLN4Qhxo5Q30MEc5xIEQBs9VNcCRYi1eeVvRiNozjj1AgOKYYTuYMpWddWJb697t0SiFPYT0K70HIa4QQPG2uu2ClaSvqRNWhHsA-albd_DLpZ9B_XVVJ0fC1ZUBcdRka6XEvddoVtto/s320/Camporee+3.jpg" border="0" /></p><p align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332102731661606594" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 238px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDnzt9MgrroIyNTT-rLt6Bj-MgDslWm_j7f5SRc4hL5gwvAGwlhdi7HHeAj7mf_PCE-qMuS0jYKqxCSrGzIezVbUqfHH_RYxqBqp5_7z1E9hgZre0_L4yj1zsFTYRYUpguMu_8THYEe2Y/s320/Camporee+1.jpg" border="0" /></p><p align="center"><span style="font-size:78%;">Picnic lunch with Jenny, Mackenzie, Kate, Madison H., Kristian & Reagan</span></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332102728726334818" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvhi7GKXgaSa2p46kewNKbdc71JSf0Cwl3cX84FIPu0Btp9xQa6nq1YQxQgHHBveL2yFMpjwnHoWyiNzgpSY6qSHHKfAZW5Hl2qbq1sxk7talGKhcShF3ONFF6VSYti4tmI9LIBR4ppcM/s320/Camporee+5.bmp" border="0" /></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332102750582063954" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6T3rdMiD076HfNOj4AIjVNtUMfAxQh-PtePTBHIvONtuhTNF_jiwDcYAtxViDb67kv0Nk8IAcJ6uzB5KDaxpkl8BQ3wVcwhNe8Ng2CNziHnRFZv4KaehjKQNCCG7jnEXFNVPG5L4K5Ws/s320/Camporee+4.jpg" border="0" /></p><p align="center"><span style="font-size:78%;">Cute bag that Reagan made at Camporee.</span></p>Wendihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13751683418613104792noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859428077970056706.post-59324373581148654452009-04-27T20:02:00.001-04:002009-05-04T20:15:40.697-04:00A Rose By Any Other NameReagan's latest school project was to create a diagram of the life cycle of a plant or insect. After much deliberation, she chose the rose. She did her research on the Internet, then I sketched the pictures for her and she colored and labeled them. We went down the street to my friend Karen's house (who has a beautifully landscaped yard) and she snipped a rose and rosebud that we attached to her paper. Thanks Karen!<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYF9TelFKGeFSyFbclWasBruFBVVhvUjBeJVa1D7wjK2OX79BhCcGaXRIwpBYa0C-a0vMFawrOZ8kG5WcajKp44SgA-eToxpNZPFjDrWYMQu_-dsOO_xNgWbNxjIa_Qshig2yQ_xrD_Y4/s1600-h/Rose+Project+1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332123713023797810" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYF9TelFKGeFSyFbclWasBruFBVVhvUjBeJVa1D7wjK2OX79BhCcGaXRIwpBYa0C-a0vMFawrOZ8kG5WcajKp44SgA-eToxpNZPFjDrWYMQu_-dsOO_xNgWbNxjIa_Qshig2yQ_xrD_Y4/s320/Rose+Project+1.jpg" border="0" /></a><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332123720922475522" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgO3BcH4M4I2kYu71D9EE4wRhtZZEUZsoRrED5VpeJkAqpaw1o3PEqSwHB5wM9Jtkmdv8AbZzlHwRHynE7Y6sejdWm4wRglv7JMmQ39HcQP8IlJ1sAuhcCemZ9BZMQyaTbg23TTJ7870Zo/s320/Rose+Project+2.jpg" border="0" /></div>Wendihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13751683418613104792noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859428077970056706.post-15494211993230291472009-04-27T07:08:00.003-04:002009-05-04T19:22:58.630-04:00Welcome Home Daddy!Adrian is coming home today! Although I'm sad, I feel so grateful to have had so many wonderful years with a woman who meant more to me that I could ever express in words. She taught me to be patient and kind and to always be respectful. She spoiled me not with material things, but with the kind of love that only a grandmother can give. She was my biggest cheerleader and supported me in everything I did. There are so many special memories that just the two of us shared; playing Annie Over, the endless games of Monopoly with the big red dice, our love of Braum's Butter Brickle ice cream and the memory most special to me, sleeping back to back.</div><div align="left"></div><div align="left">She raised an awesome woman in my mother, who did an amazing job raising me, and now it's my turn to pass on the wisdom and values instilled in me onto my children. I wish my kids had more time with her; they loved her so much. When she was still living at her house, she had a little red mailbox that she would fill with trinkets or toys, or maybe just a quarter, just for them. They would get so excited that sometimes, I swore they were going to jump out of the car before it stopped moving! And when she could no longer live by herself and moved in with my mom and dad, the mailbox followed. My kids are young, and I know their memories of Granny will fade over time, but I am sure that the legacy of the little red mailbox will live on forever in their hearts.</div><div align="left"></div><div align="left">I know that she is in a far better place now. She's with her parents, brothers, son Gary and the love of her life, my Papaw. And there's no doubt in my mind that he's already driving her crazy, talking her ear off.</div><div align="left"></div><div align="left">I'll see her again someday, and she'll be waiting on me with a big bowl of Butter Brickle and a hug. I love you Granny.</div></div>Wendihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13751683418613104792noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859428077970056706.post-59657072591170234052009-04-10T19:25:00.003-04:002009-05-04T20:00:36.443-04:00Do the Bunny Hop, Hop, Hop<div align="left">Today, Reagan's class had a super fun party to celebrate Easter. It's held at the baseball fields and in addition to the egg hunt, they have bounce houses and other fun games for the kids to play. It's kinda a warm-up for next week. A pre-Easter Easter egg hunt you could say! I wasn't able to get any pics of Mason and Reagan actually getting any eggs, because when they said "Go" it was an absolute free-for-all! Between the 4 fields, there were 10,000 eggs, but because there were <em><strong>so many</strong></em> kids there, mine only got around 10 each. Oh well, I'm sure they'll fare better on Easter Sunday!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321714782758288274" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi32jsuqu8vRlstLP8ghfQq9wIVVeyt0h1jp5_WEZGc0wmobuHJkicnsC0rlARkqzinAh1Rwb1Hllb8VUCtjIxvAAc1yefj5NoziWDBdlQd714fFQrxNfrYMQGqvWI07vvSrVG5I90vYUY/s320/Meggahunt+1.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321714809217573042" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAtUbOIZsU0Zfp6jCeFkc4QQUAYQIy8y-5addPtwAwXAQy2UPD2VyN-5vFtDQogIkNWFK4tpl0N8Cxj_BueEZ7Sl1Kg69V1tS-XicnBbWbkBcNd_dZYgRKFAjb4CN4am6kEJ6lN36AlOI/s320/Meggahunt+Mason.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321715055160677762" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi57RbFGUDxXeLKmxadQKllFGfTeqffoaywIQH_TV2KP-uURwM74hIqd2RV6iZb9llOrjiXwnMtEqRVN4t2JkTg2UDJfS7H7SiuWrak3Cv0rX7vo0alx08tXc_xEDsdquFM_fwo-DdfV3Y/s320/Meggahunt+Reagan.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321714791502556530" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMmM_FMAdPV5UtCw0nDBFFvcSApiA0TPZ6r1HZkn1o45Eaak7ucUlXWfufvS2CvniZ8MxdoJRPpHRHNpaQdIPKVRn7-a7u8JHfKiG7SPYmjz_oFyl1w2_4hyteoCjoQ78qJQDBmYEXtLc/s320/Meggahunt+2.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321714806117607778" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8oj4KUnmsH78PP-2pNLDLKoTHrkJM6IS4DlAF8E3V94J3F62N_7tHtQ1RvxlE_WuYVbMhmfgM7pCMbApoi8BtzHWPsBL6__arcD3lY3g_sMlSvNJQfJPZotzgtrMXlDYXdP0oktB3OAo/s320/Meggahunt+3.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321714806640054418" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUYIfoSs2G7BeLIh9E1LcmUokI6xul51_WDWdoBNBqKmz8aaFzikfg2XUSplFcbqCjfjg9MXRhex1fGmyILnWn_DrPRRNXCusd1ztCjbioCvBJ21zQ3eyHBLZsd83PDfr465TXYByL1Yk/s320/Meggahunt+4.jpg" border="0" />Wendihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13751683418613104792noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859428077970056706.post-8734590170326429362009-04-04T19:40:00.004-04:002009-04-06T19:56:36.025-04:00A Day with my Favorite BoyWhile Reagan was away on a field trip today with the Girl Scouts, Mason and I went on a date. We ate lunch at Red Robin, browsed the bookstore and then grabbed a chocolate chip cookie at the mall. We then headed out to the Jacksonville Commons park, which is a GREAT park, but it's all the way on the other side of town, so we don't frequent it very often. It was a beautiful Spring day, perfect for being outside!! Mason is a really <em>awesome-amazing-funny-smart-sweet</em> kid, who's growing up way too fast, and I treasured the time we spent together today!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321727662721376690" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1r4pcqg5ZlSJc7VA96GmXYEPkA35Vkgs4-mAOot_8nRx8u0hO3lijaZUwTU7kboZzaOE1hAcV7mL5ax6_bvYFy-J81Ypt6jOh3OdMfnUhvySz0rxuazfxtr2khUT5pJvTazmee43sKuQ/s320/Mason+at+Park+1.1.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321727667160913202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEik-7tCRnOdOHEYpsJNw9kvspAFlGjNcyEKLSf2T2lscHisy3FM-odz8gkU6z0wws49peiwK9l4EdiKEvM8xJH0PndW_Z9aNFhPyW1xJ2V2_E4V0lPkYPvsmTQ7Z8wXP3JPtJqYDI9OVMw/s320/Mason+at+Park+2.jpg" border="0" />Wendihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13751683418613104792noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859428077970056706.post-87291464030969115202009-04-03T20:38:00.004-04:002009-04-06T18:21:38.739-04:00The Newest Addition to our Family<div align="center"><strong><span style="font-size:180%;">Meet Max</span></strong><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321706100875502690" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 234px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLyENpEJ8lARuXVIBt2x0C_iPXNRfaxwdOdjUrieO-eXcpOvFYKV164aZJ3CsCeDWRevDyJGAGXEKk3FzIY-bMbNAWBW-_HMMVudeUEp3KqAKow_S-ObyHbq4teCImPp1qCPo4iey5py4/s320/Max+1.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div align="left">One of the other moms found this little guy at Mason's baseball practice today and as soon as she put him down, Reagan swooped in like a hawk and snatched him up. While I had <strong><em>NO</em></strong> intentions of bringing him home, the kids were beyond crushed when I said we had to leave him behind. So, now we have a pet turtle. It's just a temporary living arrangement though. I told the kids we would have to find him a new home before we move in May. Reagan has been working on this adorable little pillow in Dr. Trafton's Art class for several weeks. Only a select few kids from each class are taught to use the sewing machine, so this was an extra special project!! She picked out her fabric, learned how to operate the machine and thread the needle, stuffed the pillow and then hand stitched it closed. I don't know about you, but I don't remember sewing anything until I was in Home-Ec as a freshman.....certainly not as a 1st grader!!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319524416980639730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMYVCZUC7I1BVlan9aW04y-WLBWA0svXQMGWG652JTGB218flh9DosAoo5sqBryuafSwP44l4EtiEzFA_rjKxF-qP8FdzdALjeOCqNGEiKoquIlCtLU60OUEcM3GCCmJPpDoBlCdSeInQ/s320/Pillow+1.jpg" border="0" /></div></div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319524420720342482" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiD-7QIo0DPo7tWI2dyWNal6NgRDoVS7CResLPlhCifdxDFC_JEe_XH_92BfHPnEVnk_Zs9euBGp0-EEFOLEGQdVnDRSB-ZCXM9MZBoT-k4M05by1Kg9Ban-yQmN2o7oxPPyWLIDzdM_9Y/s320/Pillow+4.jpg" border="0" />Wendihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13751683418613104792noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859428077970056706.post-57738116720936740332009-03-28T23:13:00.003-04:002009-03-31T21:51:25.920-04:00Basket Bingo<div align="left">WAY too much fun was had tonight at Basket Bingo!! It started out a bit rocky when our party of 19 was sat at a table for 12. Plus, it was all the way in the back of the room....the nerve!! But we were right beside the cash bar, so who were we to complain? We pulled up another 2 tables and were ready to get our Bingo on! If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all, so needless to say I didn't win a darn thing. One of our girls (Karen) won a round of bingo and a few others won door prizes and silent auction baskets (Karen again--seriously I will never invite her to anything that requires luck <strong><em>ever again</em></strong>!!--Cathy and Jennifer). We were by far the most awesome group of girls in attendance! Pretty rowdy too, which is probably why we got called out over the mic. Something about "Those girls at the Lopez table...." Although Erin swore she heard 'low class table' instead of 'Lopez table' and to that I say AS IF!!!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319532908646791122" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 205px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFhN2rpR0gSmQvs6xig2NhdGmTBzssHEYcJRY0DfhWezUhBHOnlaSSZYZHqNkrv9Z_u6CSlT6XAwkJ7e5DwvMJBJ4LzDA2gxreM5sZniqswURY5o3uglXfo3XxjVUeansOGOjB9E93Xms/s400/Basket+Bingo+Group.jpg" border="0" /></div><p align="center">The Low Class Table</p><p align="center">(Stacey, Charline, Gia, Shelby, me, Jacole, Renee, Erin, Autumn, Jackie, Stacy, Tammy, Cathy, Amanda, Heidi and Karen)</p><p align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319532664545801250" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 258px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihUBQWvKNrSmVhSIMzoqYv0y7uzDQtlX4OURZ7EXWn7THMzdukiaHFq2R4bs0ygNv6Y7Eg8QP0away9ecZtzrQ1KYFHr8G1WTYpipa-VyF9oCeNkJHVV5f6VbSgwxbaGHx1ZiyfFMSwHA/s320/Basket+Bingo+Beer-amid.jpg" border="0" /></p><p align="center">The Beeramid, quite possibly the reason we were called low class.</p>Wendihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13751683418613104792noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859428077970056706.post-7404457582609443372009-03-21T22:47:00.004-04:002009-03-26T21:35:24.099-04:00Father/Daughter Dance<div><div><div><div><div><div>Tonight, the Girl Scouts hosted their annual Father/Daughter Dance at the O-Club on the Air Station. Unfortunately Adrian is in California, so I had to step in and play Daddy for the night. I was really bummed that he wouldn't be here to share in such a special memory with Reagan, but honestly, I was thrilled to escort her! Since Reagan's BFF Alexis was also attending with her dad Jake, we decided to make it a double date and ride together. Reagan looked so beautiful and I was honored to be by her side!!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317673625679173490" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijEvpfLaatPep4QKOgbQH6KQDqjfXrqZ6KrbmiADY4QzxzYBBOMfgvctHvOvsaPFs05LGf3nnzVinCSnXKcgVomsGPsL0HA_T-8vP6QceZjYKKILC6sbWbNLMfb-P1YfDdxeENU1O2Wno/s320/FD+Dance+Reagan+%26+Wendi.jpg" border="0" />The Dance went WAY above my expectations!! Everything, from the food to the decorations to the DJ, was wonderful! In fact, it was nicer and more organized than most Ball's I have attended! Reagan had SO MUCH FUN dancing the night away!! She only left the dance floor to get a drink!! Hopefully next year she can go with her Daddy!! <div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317673611822554322" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQr94B5H1yUpN9Ff4Ah0lCAW9p5XOTCa_oB-Gg4iqaNuEs9qV-59-Y5pkHHVtPk45AE_4MbFKaibaCmjN5DG9zSvbNpzhk11sA4iOo27aGheM2EJfqj6WMigIFskQszi6S0kP8s30MWp8/s320/FD+Dance+Reagan+%26+Alexis.jpg" border="0" /></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317673084491313986" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtHwhBnOgzGI3lZAHAOKNBgePljr8kz8ZiRd4dFNkGSSFW_pFzGaAXZNfBXvRn_w9IuT91BolNe_h-VqXk3E6XuB_i8WEs7YBLyR8BhYk81hTpFr7YdXXgkG8_WqZTMQTTIPjOjM8Oj-Q/s320/FD+Dance+Reagan+1.jpg" border="0" /></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317673074832811138" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbVwHXD9hESeKJIfs6GH7wSE5dXja9y0XSpfpELlVlUMXiPn1RKieztWq6FQbqkKQHNcKqWj3eLZRw4lYsTOhCtUDZKuc7b5F7UvkT4yK3e5lLmKkMTp7S5LA9ShQNhFlxrkdHgqd4CF0/s320/FD+Dance+Chyanne,+Kristian,+Reagan,+Jada.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317673618404697954" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju6GZc3o58l6tvtaclpd5lVRIbJxjJodFTlaQF80d7ZZZUFj-G2rl1sbbnucbWKFacGB-q7pP6cQUh6zsk9X95FzSaaH63vbmF0Aehyl47uCOiPUilWg-E3uTQGw7hyphenhyphens4z9B2uxUehqGE/s320/FD+Dance+Reagan+%26+Lauren.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317673624336965970" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhELLIo8XTLsDtkU3lkQM1sGv-Qh7XQK4lJ5Zt6S3a8S87eRHQrtnf1PYKMotgjpCuPEkd2MH6Nm8z2VBMUGqApuWfHlsIldmyyhb-Q6macppVY9hbK-QKaFsHeFieLIgBwtoMpXdXdSN0/s320/FD+Dance+Reagan+%26+Paige.jpg" border="0" /></p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317673079795546194" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlHltDaurDzvFKPEop30zJRZf1_mkrC1WECa_v9VpD5qlvzoOzsVAKz67GXuoow35GwrH5HsTXWSgonQv6HOswgZHCvaZ_ctn3ULqjE22g_BbpWwjSZsYWqp9RUgTOjonX1Wyji0Tq9Y8/s320/FD+Dance+Cupcakes.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317673633593378114" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgGYDQ2LxNjEkxjcvUiU6kqgIJ9_Y08QBHMY_3o0rM1e9gsYkWTJ0Gygip6ZQoKRDIvXoolv0fypJ1LxtB-FMaJr-BhKBffw4i7JMRiTZZFFsmUIHCpRnYKXPRiRQiKbbRNZp60pWJ9Zo/s320/FD+Dance+Reagan+w+Cupcakes.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317673078307065442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnb4CyvDDAEFFyUN5MJ4TxSPVotbZlmlgBcIFuGavJ3QoWwEti6KoL-jvJGfLuoY5cbl9Z2TbkJIAIW8YXuFtiTmZRZgNpSIKZ_YFea2lwf5EazZOR2PfXB-JPjXgXubDVBLWveKi_VKs/s320/FD+Dance+Dancing+1.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317673080369187634" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6O4VzyXnZ_C5K0OukxHZhxjEyG9mAa_76YULyU6BDOtAiPz6T91caT6osb2FaVUZ9zmd3OExEinj4HinVUM28NaPv_JUrVe77EXThKtGbZ-OF7otekA6BeE5JAVAeXgnFerPN4ACCvwc/s320/FD+Dance+Dancing+2.jpg" border="0" />Wendihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13751683418613104792noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859428077970056706.post-64401969894607849882009-03-14T12:48:00.008-04:002009-03-26T22:22:27.270-04:00Pinewood Derby<div align="left">The moment that Boy Scouts wait for all year is finally here! It's Pinewood Derby Day!! Mason has really been looking forward to this event since we signed him up in the Fall. And since they allow siblings to participate, Reagan was able to make a car of her own!</div><div align="center"><div align="left"><div align="left"><div> </div><div>We bought their kits, which consist of a block of wood (literally), four nails and four tires. The wood hobby shop on base cuts the cars for free, which was a lifesaver, considering I'm a total novice in the area of sawing and carving. They drew out their designs and off to the hobby shop we went! Afterwards, they sanded and painted them, then attached the wheels. Mason had few specifications - blue with a white stripe down the middle. He also attached a Lego racer and a button for the steering wheel. Reagan decided that she wanted hers to look like a watermelon. It was by far the cutest entry!!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317679646471772066" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2lOGWvCpelDe18wUrq6ehNx9FsZKE20ecoxYCWW-2yjQg7UuDUAx5ogF0BOKL4iVujco37NqHX2v7KdNAIXzZVXL9wc9BIecARFK5FxugJFx7RGHTXFJM7cpjhZvygWbbbzmmx7d147k/s200/Pinewood+Derby+Sanding+1.jpg" border="0" /></div></div><div align="center"><span style="font-size:78%;">Sanding</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-size:78%;"></span> </div><div align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317679649025098034" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFXF3yhRifNGxo0lI6eeyP_4haFb7jF_EXKfRv-s7oGR-ObNFX4IJwuDcDKnQzLdpWumuU_M5cF-yLLVF2zkdVa96BXWBOzHq5jeAp7R8T7dpJhVl-IuLescEv443QkxuHnMrkEnzgsY8/s200/Pinewood+Derby+Sanding+2.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317679635839531522" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTFaEwaVrwJn9uqZknfOFnEb9gJ6ZScNZv0bb4l9oLJV9MhyQ2r5arXlLrr5ZM24exRs6tjVjcDj76nWgXrfwbfmpqtU2Q3t9zGAYVvj2U0jLPpVW8CJZhSjKoVeiRxk3hV8TJhgrwyeM/s200/Pinewood+Derby+Painting+1.jpg" border="0" /><span style="font-size:78%;">Painting</span></div><span style="font-size:78%;"></span><div align="center"><br /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317679640030780834" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjE3F2VsgwLp6ZpoGiTgf07V18fR-eY7u34oX5jLOfF4ru5aYEEUnmkaUGKPs2pRZnVNq51WN33EhZ987fUh-gEOrykaoa61pmO3ljdEGKlPZJ_thgUs0pK5TXGrAQH_PkuIyTx1ii2aas/s200/Pinewood+Derby+Painting+2.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317678945821008050" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQh81C1neMmJtxPFEACblmajDOa8ZxJPAqkrDzOm_Yuiymqx-Ht6CqIoYCokbvEQFrmKrm9SsZLET_Ndz8iN-gheT_Et0e14cIOG2hBPidAb86sVeaXpp1MPKz-DqvWVfSjQv0qmzWtCs/s320/Pinewood+Derby+Painting+3.jpg" border="0" />Today, they put their creations to the test. Only the top 3 racers in each Den go on to compete in the Pack championship and Mason was in a 4-way tie for 4th place, but had a really good time anyways! Reagan decided to dress up as a Marine (no shocker there....she wears her cammies every chance she gets!). I volunteered in her classroom this morning and helped the kids make hats and prepare green eggs! Before they made them, they voted on whether or not they thought they would like them. An investiture is a ceremony that officially welcomes a new girl into the Girl Scout family for the first time. The ceremony began with each girl saying part of The Girl Scout Promise and The Girl Scout Law and lighting a candle (3 candles for the Law and 10 candles for the promise). Reagan's line was "....<em>courageous and brave</em>." Girls who had previously been Scouts were called up by the leaders to rededicate themselves to the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Then the newbies (Reagan and Paige) were called up to be invested into Scouting by the two oldest girls in the troop (Lauren and Madelyn). Reagan said the Girl Scout Promise to Maddie and then Maddie pinned the Membership Pin onto her vest.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298767865546869186" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1PLBLrktlE9CdYc3ylRxDPMX7e4ENQXX1DNvvD8UWOO8miA1pcFG3TTIYsdoNbPQE84zU-pCG9DwirY5RkyDiAGPpWM-_DcEMMbiKKCNN-LBAGEuFk13Bj7z9U5zo0SsCkePSmoJ86mg/s320/GS+Reagan.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298767868915232002" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 250px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhH6iKcjk3vIPl8EdQ3-AQcsgzIVXNxIRAi4fGy3w0vsjYp8GF03zquqR4Qij82iRbwvD8Wmm2pqWs-KEt1N7EqMH5ue8gliPUpJ1Z5T5ZMkPnoJ90ZtPaWIvlvGpHvIGVxEgpUlKuv_uI/s320/GS+Reagan+2.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298767871997147186" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 256px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjK4f6ARCGScTX6SPCRhmuVGYHbEnAa-INWAP_yO15CCCAKTSTN8dbKkdYhNP_r9Th7WiyyPfkewXJKn7_r5vG6M05-UuEdHGCzu7WPzWoGZSX1R0SBVrFJNep7rN-SGmnU4syOAnXlDqU/s320/GS+Reagan+3.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298767861746097282" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 226px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQXtofVBjEsjHr2VwTXWSjusNDUr35OzDmQU-AUlyMroSNXJnLJbbOMgQzRYlo-D92BYmLtgGLGQr0E0TwxIdhlfgnr83tovh6MgmR76IU-9yPerrW2o_eki7Mdusl9lhYtu2qLNnLMII/s320/GS+Grace+%26+Reagan.jpg" border="0" /><strong><span style="font-size:130%;"></span></strong></div><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-size:130%;"></span></strong></div><div align="center"><strong><span style="font-size:130%;">The Girl Scout Promise</span></strong><br />On my honor, I will try:<br />To serve God and my country,<br />To help people at all times,<br />And to live by the Girl Scout Law.</div>Wendihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13751683418613104792noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859428077970056706.post-32790029731109596012009-02-02T19:55:00.004-05:002009-02-23T21:02:48.389-05:00Navy Commendation MedalIt's a proud in the Lopez house!!
